TAUA_670 is estimated by the ocean color atmospheric correction algorithm (O2AB) with embedded aerosol model set. The set was defined in aim at best performance in water reflectance retrieval and was not necessarily tuned for AOT estimation. The validation results of TAUA_670 show that the estimated TAUA_670 is biased against in situ data set. The systematic bias of TAUA_670 estimate can be corrected by the following equation;
