ADEOS DATA DISTRIBUTION PLAN

ADEOS will be launched this summer to acquire data on worldwide environmental changes such as the greenhouse effect, ozone layer depletion, tropical rain forest deforestation, and abnormal climatic conditions. Such data should contribute to international global environmental monitoring, so many kinds of users are interested in it.
JAXA has studied ADEOS data distribution plan in consideration of current trends. Though the details of this plan are under arrangement now, I will summarize ADEOS data and Point Of Contact (POC) information for ADEOS data and provision.
ADEOS Data Policy
Based on "IEOS Data Exchange Principles (DEP)"
All IEOS data are available

for peaceful purposes,
for use of each IEOS Member,
for non-commercial use,
for research, application, and operational use, and at the lowest possible cost.
