DEVELOPMENT STATUS OF ADEOS DATA PROCESSING SYSTEM

Summary
The system testing has almost been completed except for the following:
- AVNIR
Modification of the radiometric model
HIS processing (Mu-Pa corregistration product)
- OCTS
GAC processing
Mask/flag processing
OCTS version algorithmAn operational test integrating the ADEOS Data Processing System and other ADEOS ground systems will be conducted this month.
AVNIR Data Processing Component
The radiometric processing is being modified in response to the changes of the radiometric model.
The processing with each option (g, d, i, m, f) except option c for HIS processing has been completed, and the geometric accuracy has been verified internally.
- g: geo-coding
- d: coarse DEM correction
- i: geometric correction with image navigation band
- m: MTF correction
- f: precise correction using GCPs
- c: Mu/Pa band corregistration
OCTS Data Processing Component
The CZCS version has almost been completed except for GAC processing and mask/flag processing.
The coding of the OCTS version algorithm has been started.
The number of calculations in the atmospheric correction algorithm was increased after the computer system was procured. Both the algorithm team and the system development team are considering how to speed up the processing.
