Following images show spring bloom off Hokkaido Japan. The Kuroshio Warm Current flows meandering in the south and east of the Japan Island (see the right image). Chlorohyll-a was high along the junction line between the Kuroshio and Oyashio (cold) Currents, where often form a fishing ground.
